Fortnite may be about to launch Chapter 3, Season 3 with a massive tree.

Fortnite is on the verge of launching Chapter 3, Season 3. The game is promising all sorts of changes, and with the changes come new additions and subtractions from the island. Landmarks like the Daily Bugle may be gone, and in its place, the volcano may be reignited.

New vehicles are expected to join the fray, as well as new weapons and characters. Yet, one of the biggest additions to the new season of the game, literally, could be a tree straight out of Elden Ring.

For those out of the loop, Elden Ring is a From Software game in the vein of Dark Souls or Bloodborne, but with an infusion of George R.R. Martin. In one of the first major moments of the game, the character is greeted by a giant, near-planet size tree that stretches far into the air and across the map.

According to Tabor Hill, via Top5Gaming, a tree-like that may be on its way to the island for Season 3.

Fortnite may put the Zero Point in a tree this season

If the Tabor Hill rumor is true and Fortnite refocuses its vision of the island to include a giant tree, then it’s safe to say that it’ll be the location of the Zero Point for Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3. Since the Zero Point is the center of the Fortnite universe, and from which all conflict on the island stems around, it makes sense that if it finds its way into a tree, that said tree would be huge in scale.

The only problem is, Chapter 3, Season 3’s nickname is expected to be Drought, meaning that all the island’s fresh water and vegetation are expected to be turned into dirt and sand.

The tree may still be a part of the new, sandier, more irritating island, or these two concepts may directly cancel each other out. Maybe only one is right. We’ll find out come Sunday, June 5, when Chapter 3, Season 3 launches.
