The upcoming Collision event by Fortnite gets a full trailer that would make Michael Bay proud.

Fortnite is gearing up for their Chapter 3, Season 2 live event called Collision. The event will feature the players gearing up with others to help the Seven take down the Imagined Order by piloting pilot the newly re-created Mecha Strike Commander robot. The goal is to take down the Imagined Order and their new doomsday device.

The event is starting on June 4, 2022, at 4 PM ET, and players can only experience it live once, so fans are being encouraged by the folks at Epic Games and Fortnite itself to record the event to relive it, as that’s the only way you’ll be able to.

To get fans hyped for the event, Fortnite released a new trailer, where the Mecha Strike Commander robot is being finished and launched. It feels like a scene from a Michael Bay movie, notably Armageddon when Bruce Willis and the astronauts make their way to their respective rockets.

Fortnite’s season finale promises big changes in Season 3

The end of the season may see major changes coming to the island in Chapter 3, Season 3. The game is hinting at the possibility of the entire island being devoid of water, and sand creeping in to take control of the area.

Hints of this can be seen in the new leaked game screen that was on the Nintendo eShop, where the sky is more orange, hinting at a more heated game experience.

Not only is the island expected to be devoid of water, but the purple storm is expected to be replaced by a red heatwave that players will have to stay ahead of.

Of course, these are just rumors and anything could still be revealed ahead of the new season reveal on June 5.
