Fortnite has brought in Mecha Strike Commander

Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 2 live event hyped up the return of Mecha Team Leader, the giant robot used to fend off a terrifying monster early in the first season of the game’s lore. The robot was confirmed to return for the end of Chapter 3’s second season, but things seem to have changed. The once-Vultron-inspired look has been muted and changed into a more Transformers-looking robot.

The new robot even has a new name, Mecha Strike Commander.

The new creation isn’t just going to be battling come the Live Event, but will also be part of June’s rollout of new costumes. The outfit is now being sent to Fortnite Crew members’ lockers for them to use and can be purchased thanks to the Battle Pass if you’re not currently subscribed.
