Fortnite has revealed the Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit for fans.

Fortnite just vaulted the lightsabers and blaster rifles from their short foray back into Star Wars. You’d think they’d wait for them to vault those items until a little after the debut of the Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit. Nope, we can’t have fun or do nice things.

The folks at Fortnite brought back fun weapons and all of the past Star Wars outfits for fans to buy but those outfits were put back on the shelf as well when Kenobi arrived. It’s almost like they were using the weapons and outfits as appetizers for the debut of Kenobi.

The outfit will have a Desert Essentials back bling, an “Obi-Wan’s blade” pickaxe, a Jedi Interceptor glider, a Message emote and an Obi-Wan Kenobi themed loading screen. Kenobi’s attire, look and design is based on the upcoming Disney+ series, which will see Ewen McGregor return to the role for the first time in 15+ years.

Obi-Wan Kenobi isn’t all that’s expected in Fortnite.

The series will see McGregor and a few other Star Wars alumni return to the show, like Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, aka Luke Skywalker’s crispy uncle from A New Hope. That’s not all, however, as Hayden Christensen will be returning to the franchise as well as a younger version of Darth Vader.

It’s unclear how Christensen will factor into the role, as he’s not tall like the original Vader and his voice sounds nothing like James Earl Jones, the legendary voice of the role for decades. They may put him in a new outfit to help showcase that this is in fact Christensen, and that could work.

Christensen as Vader, however, is expected to appear at some point in Fortnite as early as Chapter 3, Season 3.

Assuming we do get Vader, this will be one of the more anticipated crossovers in franchise history.
