Fortnite has brought back three weapons

Fortnite is loading up the second season of Chapter 3 with a lot of weaponry. It seems like every two weeks or so, new weapons are added to the game, and when these weapons are added, all hell breaks loose. We just had the introduction of the Star Wars blaster and lightsaber, and now we’re getting back the Hunting Rifle, Flint-Knock Pistol and one many players have been hoping for; the Air Strike.

Not only are the guns available in all rarities, but they’re going to be widely accessible. It’s clear the developers of Fortnite really want fans to play with these weapons, which are in stark contrast to a lot of the other weapons dropped recently.

Fortnite has brought in some really rapid-fire weapons these last two seasons, and that’s caused a lot of fans to question the devs. The faster the gun, the easier the elimination, after all. Yet, these are single-shot weapons, which can cause lots of damage.

So at least this is new.

These items won’t be sticking around in Fortnite long, however

If you were hoping these items would be back long term, think again. The Hunting Rifle and Flint-Knock Pistol will be around for only a few days, being re-vaulted on May 17th, 2022 at 9 AM ET. That means that players are going to need to get their fair use of these weapons for as long as they can.

The game isn’t going to be bringing these back for a while, not with all the new content coming in.

The Air Strike, on the other hand, may in fact last through the next update which is scheduled for the first week of June.  The exact date is on June 4, and it’s promising some huge changes like the introduction of Indiana Jones and Darth Vader, as well as the conclusion to The Seven and The Imagined Order’s war.

For now.
