Scarlet Witch arrives in Fortnite on the heels of the new Doctor Strange film

Scarlet Witch has arrived in Fortnite on the heels of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The new Marvel movie is out, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and the main character of that film is already in Fortnite. Many people thought that Scarlett Witch would eventually join the roster of Fortnite characters since she and Doctor Strange were both the main characters in the film.

Strange has been in Fortnite since the latest season launched, and now Scarlet Witch joins the long line of Marvel characters in the game as well.

For just 1,500 V-Bucks, you can now play as Scarlet Witch in Fortnite. While she’s played masterfully by Elizabeth Olsen, in Fortnite she’s all yours to control. She comes with a cloak for her back bling and features two styles. If you purchase the Scarlet Witch bundle and just the character, you’ll get the bundle exclusive Through the Mirror Dimension loading screen.

The bundle is just 300 V-Bucks more, coming in at a total of 1,800 V-Bucks.

According to Fortnite News, this is the 49th Marvel character to be added to the game, and the fourth this season alone.

The Scarlet Witch model is fine but it’s no Moon Knight

The design of the character is fine. Nothing fancy but it looks enough like Olsen’s Scarlet Witch that it works. The thing is, most comic characters stand out on the pages of the books they’re in. Yet, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe adapts them, they lose some of that flash. Scarlet Witch is one of those characters that look rather ordinary in the MCU.

Mono Knight, however, looks like something wholly unique. A comic-accurate depiction of the character, and one that really looks like he’s something different. Especially with his suited version.

It’s great that fans got a Scarlet Witch character to play as, but she’s going to be compared to the likes of Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, and The Prowler, other Marvel characters introduced this season.
