Bringing in Street Fighter’s Blanka in a suit is just wonderfully silly

Fortnite crossovers are great and now a new Street Fighter one is bringing in peak Blanka.

Fortnite is the king of video game crossovers. Street Fighter is arguably the king of fighting video games. The two of them pairing up makes all the sense in the world. Especially with some of the more popular characters. This isn’t the first time Street Fighter has crossed over with Fortnite but it may have the best-looking character with this Blanka skin.

Blanka is of course the large, animalist brawler from the game, and he’s been a pivotal character since the early 90s when he was introduced in Street Fighter 2. His electric powers were some of the more unique and impressive at the time but now Blanka is shocking players in a different way.

With a shockingly strong fashion game. That’s right, this Blanka skin comes with an alternate that is purely dashing. He buttoned up to the nine’s and has his hair up like a Super Saiyan, but it’s the sunglasses that really seal it for me. This is one of the best Blanka’s we’ll ever see.

This is the third Street Fighter crossover with Fortnite

This is the third Street Fighter collab with Epic Games’ Fortnite franchise. The previous two included Guile and Cammy and then not long after, we got Ryu and Chun-Li. This Blanka crossover isn’t just his either, he came to Fortnite with Sakura, a character that older players may not be as familiar with but she’s essentially a younger Chun-Li type character.

Except Sakura is Japanese, while Chun-Li is Chinese.

Both characters are in Fortnite for a little while longer, so be sure to check them out while you can and get in on any remaining tournaments that feature them before it’s too late. While another Street Fighter crossover is probably not far away, who knows when suited-Blanka and Sakura will be back for fans to play as.
