Fortnite was the most downloaded free-to-play game on Playstation

Fortnite continues to be a success on the Playstation network.

While the PlayStation 5 is a popular item, the PlayStation 4 remains a very popular and active console with a robust player base. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that across the two platforms, that Fortnite was the most downloaded free-to-play game on the Playstation network. This, according to the PlayStation blog.

The game beat out Apex Legends for the top spot and was far and away higher than PUBG: Battlegrounds, the other game that was most identified with the Battle Royale concept when the concept became popular several years ago.

For Fortnite, this isn’t surprising to see it in the top spot, as it’s arguably the most popular game in the world, across all consoles.
