Fortnite is planning their next concert and rumor has it that Billie Eilish will do the honors.

The next Fortnite concert may be coming sooner rather than later, and it’s very likely that the slot will be going to none other than Billie Eilish. The rumor comes from Fortnite News, which claims that the news was revealed by Fortnite leaker FNBRintel.

According to Fortnite News, FNBRintel has developed a habit of being a reliable source by leaking the arrival of the Spider-Man crossover last year. Of course, Spider-Man: No Way Home brought in numerous outfits, skins, legendary items (web-shooters), and of course the little slice of New York in the form of The Daily Bugle.

CCO of Epic Games, Donald Mustard was at a Billie Eilish concert in person recently, which further goes to support the notion that Eilish could be joining Fortnite’s concert series in the near future.

That said, there is no confirmed news yet of a potential concert coming with Eiliish headlining.

Billie Eilish follows in some major footsteps for Fortnite’s concert series

Billie Eilish will join the likes of Travis Scott and Ariana Grande as former performers who have done concerts for the Fortnite brand in recent years. Eilish joining that pantheon of talent is only a boon for the video game giant.

Marshmellow also had his own concert too, and seemingly help launched the idea in 2019.

The concerts aren’t very long, usually 10 or so minutes long, and usually play like any other Fortnite live event, just with a digitized version of the artist “performing” songs. They’re visually very cool but if you’re looking for a real concert experience these aren’t going to scratch that itch.

However, if you think more musical acts should be like the Gorillaz, then this is the type of concert for you.
