Ninja not the number one Fortnite streamer according to new Top 50 list
By Chad Porto
Ninja fails to regain his number one spot.
Ninja was made by Fortnite and maybe even fair to say, Fortnite rose to fame due to Ninja. The amount of free press that both entities gave one another is rather large. The game and the streamer are going to be forever in lock-step with one another. When it comes to brand association there’s no one who brings as much clout to the idea as Ninja but he’s no longer the top streamer for Fortnite.
That would be Clix. While Ninja still ranks as No. 4 in the Top 50 most-watched Fortnite Streamers on Twitch (according to FoxEyeGG), he’s no longer the same force that he once was as a streamer.
Now, Clix and two others, Aussie Antics and MrSavage (two and three respectively), are ahead of him. That, however, isn’t terribly surprising as he’s long lost the number one spot and is in fact moving up the rankings.
At the end of 2021, ESNN reported a Top 5 that didn’t include Ninja at all. So clearly there is a movement with his channel once again.

The fall of Ninja within Fortnite’s community is simple and obvious
Unlike in the world of art, in the world of streaming, there is no “selling out”. The whole goal is to sell out. Ninja sold out with Microsoft’s now-defunct streaming service, Mixer. While he was on Twitch at the time, he took money from Mixer to jump over. He brought a sizeable portion of his audience but not everyone wanted to deal with Microsoft; and who can blame them?
Due to the move, Ninja hurt his standing and his audience and set his career back ever so slightly. Still, it’s good to see him still pressing on despite the change of scenery.
