Fans of Fortnite will get new NBA All-Star attires this week.
Fortnite is always doing its best to stay on the pulse of the player base and this week is no different, as the NBA has joined forces with Fortnite once again. It was announced that the 2022 NBA All-Star game will have some representation with the new NBA-themed jumper attires.
There appear to be three jumper versions in total. A red and grey version, a blue and silver version, and a grey and silver version. There are also jersey versions available as well, which will come in red and grey or turquoise and grey.
Fans can even get their favorite NBA team logo as a back emblem for players who want to rep their favorite club in Fortnite. The other big addition with this update is that fans will get to vote for a brand new emote based on various NBA stars and their celebrations.
Not the first time the NBA and Fortnite have joined forces
Last season the NBA and Fortnite joined forces in a big way. Team battles allowed players to play under the same NBA team banner, and could even buy their favorite squads jerseys. This allowed players to get the Hookshot Emote, made famous in real life by Kareem Abdul Jabar. It even came with a Mini Hoop Back Bing.
Not only that, but two of the NBA’s biggest stars joined the game with specialty lockers. The Utah Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell and Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young got their own “locker” added to the game for a short time.
Mithcell’s locker included the Cozy Chomps Outfit, a Sharky Shawl Back Bling, the Stark Splitter Pickaxe, a Dynamic Fire Wrap, and a Fire Spinner Emote. Young’s locker included the Scarlet Commander Outfit and came with a Gold Digger Pickaxe, a Happy Stars Wrap, and the Baller Emote.
