Spider-Man villain Green Goblin is available for Fortnite users.

Fortnite fans are well accustomed to getting new skins and character models to play as. Every few days there are original character models and popular characters from iconic franchises being added to the world of Fortnite. It’s part of the selling point. The game is essentially free, but those character skins are what drive the revenue.

So it’s not surprising that with the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Fortnite team would add in iconic Spider-Man villain, the Green Goblin, into the game. While played by Willem Dafoe in the Spider-Man films, this version of the Goblin seems more designed after its comic version.

Still, the character’s addition is clearly linked to the film and because of that, it left me wondering what other Spider-Man film characters should get a shot at popping up. After all, if the No Way Home cast (Spider-Man/M.J.) can get skins, why not other characters?

3 Spider-Man characters we’d rather see than the Green Goblin

Emo Peter Parker/”Bully Mcguire”

One of the big selling points of Fornite is the use of the character’s dance moves. No Spider-Man character in the history of the character has the dance moves of Emo Peter Parker, aka “Bully McGuire”. To see the emo-haired Peter Parker from Spider-Man 3, dancing around and mocking characters? How fun would that be?

Bonesaw McGraw

This is a two-fer, as Bonesaw McGraw was not only a fun minor character from Spider-Man’s first film in 2002 but was also played by iconic pro wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage. Fans of both Spider-Man and pro wrestling would love to take a spin as the iconic wrestling villain from Sam Rami’s first outing as Spider-Man director.

Bruce Campbell

This may seem like a general idea, but Bruce Campbell played three different characters in the Sam Rami films. The ring announcer for the Bonesaw McGraw bout, the usher in the sequel, and the Maître d’ in the third. Not only would he be a welcomed addition to the game, but you could also make each different version something fans can get.
