Where is the Containment Specialist in Fortnite?

Need to finish those Halloween Quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8? You’ll need to look for the Containment Specialist. The Containment Specialist Fortnite skin is actually from Ghostbusters, and he’ll give you the Quests you need to complete his Punchcard. Where is the Containment Specialist in Fortnite?

Containment Specialist Fortnite Location

The Containment Specialist is found near Camp Cod, near the iconic Ghostbusters Ecto-1 by the shack. Camp Cod is a landmark, meaning you won’t be able to find it labeled on your map.

Camp Cod is a small island campsite at the southernmost edge of the map. You’re looking for the island southeast of Misty Meadows.

The easiest way to get to Camp Cod is to land there right when the game starts. There’s some loot to be had, but it’s so out of the way that you’ll want to get your Quest started and head back to the island.

Luckily the first leg of Containment Specialist’s Quest line has you deploy Seismographs in Misty Meadows or Catty Corner, the two closest POIs.

My recommendation is to hit up Misty Meadows as soon as you get the Quest. There’s sure to be lots of fighting in Misty when the game starts, but there’s still opportunities to loot. When the circle shifts, you can wait until the enemies in town leave to the circle before placing your Seismographs.

If the circle is on you, well, you’ll just have to take everyone out. After this, you can head to Lazy Lake, Sludgy Swamp or Retail Row to exterminate Mini-Pufts, depending on where the circle goes.

That’s all I recommend to do in one game, but from here you’ll need to harvest Mechanical Parts from cars, and then place Ghostbusters Signs in Holly Hedges, Dirty Docks or Pleasant Park. You can head to these locations right when you start the next game.
