Toxic Trooper Fortnite Skin Back in the Item Shop
By Andrew Lin
The Toxic Trooper Fortnite skin is a fan favorite finally back in the item shop. Here’s everything you need to know about the Toxic Trooper Fortnite outfit.
March 6’s item shop has some great throwbacks in addition to some of the newer crossover items. The Toxic Trooper makes a return alongside the “default” skins, giving players tired of all these licensed skins a return to some classic Fortnite aesthetics.
Toxic Trooper Fortnite Skin
This great skin may be overshadowed by the ambitious crossover skins in Kratos and Master Chief making their return to the Item Shop today, but the Toxic Trooper holds its own as one of the best looks from the early days of Fortnite.
The last time we saw the Toxic Trooper was back in January of this year, and has been in the shop quite a few times. It was first introduced in May 2018, and has sporadically been in the shop’s daily rotation.
The skin comes with a matching backbling and a variety of styles for it. The Toxic Trooper will cost you 1,500 V-Bucks and includes the Pathogen backbling.
For styles, you can set a green or yellow appearance for both the skin and backbling. Mix and match, or pick your favorite.
The skin is based on a hazmat suit, protecting the wearer against any hazardous material they may encounter. This won’t actually do anything against the storm, however.
The rest of the set is absent in today’s shop, so you’ll be without the matching harvesting tool and glider. You’ll have to provide your own.
Don’t miss out on this great skin, especially if you need a breath of fresh (old?) air from the crossovers.
