Master Chief Fortnite Skin Returns to Item Shop
By Andrew Lin
The Master Chief Fortnite skin returns to the item shop. If you missed out on the set the first time it came to the shop, you’ll have another chance to pick up an outfit for one of gaming’s most iconic figures.
Chapter 2 Season 5 is wrapping up, and it seems that the Zero Point is giving players another opportunity to grab some crossover skins introduced earlier this season. Today, we have the return of Master Chief to the item shop.
The Master Chief Set is live now for March 6, but will leave in the shop’s daily rotation.

Items in the set can be purchased separately, or together in a bundle for a sizable discount.
Master Chief himself comes with the Battle Legend backbling, for 1,500 V-Bucks.
His harvesting tool is the Gravity Hammer, and it costs 800 V-Bucks. The UNSC Pelican glider will run you 1,200 V-Bucks.
Perhaps the best part of the set is the Lil’ Warthog traversal emote. For just 500 V-Bucks, you get to scoot around the island on a tiny little Warthog that looks like one of those Power Wheels your neighbor’s kid has.
Buying everything in the set is a massive 4,000 V-Bucks, but there’s a big discount if you get the bundle. The entire Master Chief bundle will cost you just 2,600 V-Bucks for a discount of 1,400.
If you somehow managed to get your hands on the new Xbox Series X|S, you can unlock a hidden Matte Black style for Master Chief.
To get this style, you simply have to play a match with the Master Chief outfit equipped on the latest Xbox hardware. Either the X or S will do, assuming you can find one.
I don’t recommend getting a stranger to log in for you if you want this style, but see if any of your friends or family have a Series console you can use. Remember, never give out your log in information to anyone you don’t trust.
