The Marigold Fortnite Skin is a highly anticipated leaked skin that will apparently be released in a Challenge Pack. Here’s everything you need to know about Marigold in Fortnite.

Fortnite dataminer FireMonkey revealed images of the new skin and the contents of the challenge pack it comes in.

Marigold Fortnite: Everything You Need to Know

Marigold continues the tradition of making female versions of older skins. Marigold is a female version of Midas, the skin awarded for completing the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass. Midas is already a fan favorite, and has some of the more unique reactive effects in the game. Marigold has the same effects and abilities.

Getting kills as Marigold will turn her and her back bling more and more gold, and weapons wielded by her will also turn gold (just the cosmetics, not the rarity). If she works just like Midas, weapons will stay gold even after dropping them, letting you leave golden calling cards as you shred through the battlefield.

Marigold will be coming in the Golden Touch Challenge Pack, so you’ll need to buy it with actual money instead of V-Bucks. It will come with Marigold herself, a back bling, a harvesting tool and a set of quests to earn 1,500 V-Bucks.

According FireMonkey, the challenges will be to complete other Challenges. It’s not known how long you would get to complete these challenges within challenges. I hope there’s no time limit, because that’s a lot of challenges.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but previous Challenge Packs cost just about as much as the V-Bucks they reward, so we can expect the Golden Touch Challenge Pack to cost around $15.

This is a great way to get the style of one of Chapter 2’s coolest skins into the hands of more players. Just don’t bother using your favorite weapon wraps with Marigold, since the gold weapon effect overrides it.
