Fortnite: Today’s Item Shop Featuring Deadfire and Snuggs 10/19/19

In today’s Fortnite Item Shop, 10/19/19, we have the return of Deadfire and the introduction of a new skin, Snuggs. A western theme dominates the shop today with Frontier, Renegade, and Rio Grande ups for grabs as well.

Fortnite is not holding back with the availability of skins in the daily Item Shop for Chapter 2, Season 1. The Item Shop today features a new rare skin, Snuggs, as well as the return of Frontier, Astro Assassin, Renegade, Rio Grande, Deadfire, and the beloved fan favorite Beach Bomber. In addition, a new emote and a new wrap are available today.

Snuggs is the highlight of the today’s Fortnite Item Shop. He or she is a rare bear and part of the Royal Hearts set. The skin includes the Broken Heart back bling and can be purchased for 1,200 V-Bucks.

This bear is a definite cousin to the Cuddle Team Leader, but this one is black and pink. The matching pick axe, Snuggle Swiper, is an uncommon item that sells for just 500 V-Bucks. The matching wrap, Snuggs Shine costs 500 V-Bucks.

The Beach Bomber is back. She is the sister to the very popular Brite Bomber. The Beach Bomber is part of the Sunshine and Rainbows set, includes the Brite Board back bling, and only costs 1,200 V-Bucks.

Also available to match the Bomber girls is the Brite Stars wrap for just 300 V-Bucks. That wrap could easily match the Beach Bomber or Brite Bomber skins. Also, the Payload glider is in the Fortnite shop for 500 V-Bucks. This also matches both skins. All of the above mentioned items are part of the same Sunshine and Rainbows set.

Next up is the western gear in today’s Item Shop, all part of the Western Wilds set. The reactive legendary Deadfire skin is available for 2,000 V-Bucks. His skin begins to emit a greenish glow as he transforms in-game by dealing damage to or outliving opponents.. His back bling, the Shackled Stone, is also reactive and transforms in-game as well and is included with the skin.

Rio Grange is back in the shop, a rare skin with two variants. One wears a cowboy hat and the other does not. She is only 1,200 V-Bucks and includes the back bling Grande Pack. Her male counterpart, Frontier is also a rare skin that has two variations, one with a cowboy hat and one without. His back bling, the Detonator, is included for 1,200 V-Bucks.

The Dark Shard pick axe, an epic item, is available for 1,200 V-Bucks. This is also part of the Western Wilds set and reactive. The pick axe emits a greenish glow like Deadfire as it transforms by dealing damage or outlasting opponents. The Longhorn pick axe is also available for just 800 V-Bucks and also is a part of the Western Wilds set.

The Astro Assassin is back again for it’s third appearance in the Fortnite Item Shop. This skin was first introduced on September 7th, 2019. This skin is not part of any set, cots 1,500 V-Bucks, and includes the Cryo Hops back bling.

If you are looking for a simple and inexpensive skin, then Renegade may just be for you. She is only 800 V-Bucks, but she does not come with any back bling. She is not part of any set, but she looks ready to kick it on the battlefield.

There are two emotes in the shop today, the new Pirouette emote and the return of the True Love emote. Both of these can be purchased for just 200 V-Bucks. Lastly, the Blue Camo wrap is available and costs 300 V-Bucks. This wrap is not part of a set but would definitely look great with any snow themed skin.
