Fortnite: Today’s Item Shop Featuring Cuddle Team Leader 10/9/19

Today’s Fortnite Item Shop, 10/9/19, has brought back the lovable Cuddle Team Leader along with the fearless Growler and Flapjackie. Make sure to grab yours to show off on the battlefield before it is too late.

The pink and cuddly Cuddle Team Leader, part of the Royale Hearts set, is back in the Fortnite Item Shop after a two month hiatus. The pink teddy bear was last seen in August, and she has been showcased in the shop a whooping 26 times.

Along with the legendary skin, the Cuddle Team Leader boasts a sassy black bow for her back bling that can be used with many Fortnite skins. The skin will set you back 2,000 V-Bucks, but she is worth every penny of it.

To add to your Royale Hearts collection, make sure to grab the rare Cuddle Paw pick axe or the rare Cuddle Cruiser glider. Both of which match the set perfectly. Both of those peripherals will set you back another 800 V-Bucks. To round off the set, you can pick up the wrap, uncommon Cuddle Camo, for a mere 300 V-Bucks.

Also returning to the Fortnite Item Shop is the epic Growler and epic Flapjackie, which are part of the Animal Jackets set. Both skins come with an additional style that transforms their characters to a black and white version with red highlights…two skins in one.

Both skins also include a separate back bling for the 1,500 V-Bucks price tag. The Growler comes with Woofs, a scary gnarling dog, while the Flapjackie skin comes with Nibbles, a scary bunny rabbit. Not only do the skins have an additional style, but both back blings have an additional style matching both versions of the skins. Sweet!

These scary characters have been in the Fortnite Item Shop a total of ten times. They first appeared almost a year ago back in November of 2018.

You can also purchase the matching uncommon pick axe called the Jackspammer for just 500 V-Bucks. The matching glider, Poofy Parasail, is a rare item selling for 800 V-Bucks. The entire Animal Jackets set will set you back 4,300 V-Bucks for both male and female variations, but you will look fearsome on the battlefield.

The rare Street Striker skin appeared for the first time in the Item Shop just yesterday, and he won’t be around much longer. He isn’t part of a particular set, but his baseball hat dons the TT initials presumably representing Tilted Towers. He is available for only 1,200 V-Bucks but doesn’t include a back bling.

Catastrophe is back in the Item Shop for only the third time. She first appeared in August of this year. She is a rare skin that does include a matching back bling. She can be scooped up for only 1,200 V-Bucks and is part of the Hazcat set. Her matching harvesting tool is available for 500 V-Bucks and is a dual wielding pick axe.

The Prickly Patroller is back again for the eighth time, and she closely resembles a green cactus. This is an uncommon skin that only costs 800 V-Bucks for the money conscious players out there.

Two emotes, Laugh It Up and Full Tilt are back in the shop. Both are just 500 V-Bucks, and the Full Tilt is a traversal emote that can move across the battlefield. Lastly, the animated wrap, Scanline, is back for only 300 V-Bucks.
