Fortnite’s classic playlist can now be played by full squads.

Part of the beauty of Fortnite: Battle Royale is that the game is a living, breathing entity. Epic Games is constantly adding, removing, and updating every aspect of the game. For the most part, it creates an extremely fun and unique experience for players.

However, we all have that one weapon we miss. For some, it’s the Tactical Submachine gun. For others, it’s the Drum Gun. For many, it’s the crossbo–actually, nevermind. That was a good one to get rid of.

More from Forever Fortnite

In all seriousness, the game is dynamic partly because as weapons and items come and go, players have to adjust to new styles of play. Still, it’s only human to grow attached to certain ones and, while Epic Games does a great job of listening to its community, they have a responsibility to continue moving the game forward. Luckily, there is a way to re-live the past.

The Unvaulted LTM made its way into Fortnite at the start of the 14 Days of Fortnite event and returned again, pleasing many longtime players who missed some of their favorite weapons and items. The playlist, though, has gone through another change.

Via their Twitter account, Fortnite announced that the LTM has been expanded from duos to squads.

The change is certainly going to elicit feelings of nostalgia and increase the fun for everyone because launching two or three teammates off a mountain with an impulse grenade is simply more fun than doing it to just one unassuming comrade.

In all seriousness, adding an Unvaulted playlist is great for both new and veteran Fortnite players. The OGs get to go back in time, in a way, and experience weapons from when the game first started to become a worldwide phenomenon. Newer players get a chance to play with weapons and items that they may have missed out on.

Once again, Epic Games gets it right.
