Fortnite Battle Royale: The new submachine gun is a must-use weapon
Epic Games has removed a fan favorite in the tactical SMG and replaced it with a regular SMG. You may be mad about this, but give the new submachine gun a try before judging.
We know, the purple tac SMG was one of your favorite weapons. It was one of the best weapons in the game and you are very mad that it was vaulted by Epic and replaced with the new submachine gun.
Look, any time a weapon is removed, Fortnite fans are outraged. For every weapon, there is a group of gamers that are loyal to that weapon and will do anything to see it stick around. The new submachine gun, however, is an upgrade.
In fact, when comparing the two you’ll find that the fire rate is the exact same but the new submachine gun boasts higher damage, damage per second, structure damage and the same reload time. It’s a more stable option than the tac SMG and can be used as a mid-range assault rifle to rush enemies at the end of games.
The only difference between the two is that the tac SMG had a slightly larger clip, at 35 rounds instead of 30. Call me crazy, but there were load-outs in which I wasn’t holding the tac SMG. I’m stacking this new submachine gun any chance I get.
This weapon is accurate, powerful enough to mow down opponents and a great new option to stack two of as the shotguns continue to be nerfed. In this clip you can see how the new SMG can be used at various distances.
