Fortnite Battle Royale: What to expect from the new stink grenade

Just a week after introducing the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle, Fortnite Battle Royale will see a brand new grenade added into the game. Announced in the news section of the game, here is what to expect from the new stink grenade.

The developers over at Epic Games have changed a lot in the grenade category throughout this games cycle. We saw the smoke grenade added then removed. We also saw the implementation of the impulse grenade and the clinger.

Now, we will see yet another grenade added to the most popular game in the world tomorrow morning. The brand new stink grenade is an interesting addition to the game’s ever-growing inventory as the game continues to change.

Here is what the news update on the new grenade said,

"“Explodes into a cloud on impact slowly damages anyone inside.”"

What I imagine reading this is that it will be used to flush people out of houses and one by one bases. It will be a great device to move enemies and control space, but not kill them. What I am curious about it how much will the gas hit for.

Will it take off shield first or will it attack a player’s health bar like the storm does? My hope is that the stink grenade will do damage a lot like the storm does and hit for three or four HP per second.

I feel like this could be a new item that makes people mad. Taking damage while in a one by one will be incredibly frustrating but it will be a good way to flush out the turbo builders or the campers that corner peek.
