The gaming community was rocked when Tyler Blevins, widely known as Ninja, and whose rise to fame stemmed from Fortnite: Battle Royale, revealed to his audience that he has cancer.

The 32-year-old streamer informed his millions of followers about his recent diagnosis of skin cancer. According to his account, during a routine skin check a few weeks ago, part of a mole check he's been undergoing for some time now, a mole on the sole of his foot caught the dermatologist's attention. It was promptly removed for further examination, and unfortunately, the results came back positive for melanoma, a form of skin cancer.

Ninja further shared that following the procedure, a new spot appeared near the melanoma area, prompting a biopsy to determine its relation to the melanoma and to guide the treatment plan, considering melanoma's aggressive nature.

Despite the daunting news, Ninja conveyed optimism, highlighting that the doctors have provided a favorable prognosis as the melanoma was caught in its early stages. Immediate action will be taken to halt its progression and facilitate recovery.

Using his platform, Ninja urged his vast fan base to heed his experience and prioritize regular medical check-ups. His case serves as a reminder that age is not a barrier to health issues, urging vigilance and prompt action upon noticing any unusual symptoms or changes in their bodies. At 32, he emphasized, he serves as a testament that cancer can affect anyone regardless of age.
