According to Donald Mustard, co-creator of Fortnite, there were never any solid plans for a movie adaptation of the game, and that stance doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.
"Even back then [when Mustard was at Epic Games], there were never any real plans to make a Fortnite movie, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon," he stated in a recent interview with GamesRadar.
"I believe Fortnite's unique experience lies within the medium it currently occupies," he adds. "That's why I don't foresee a Fortnite movie happening—at least not anytime soon—but I do think people would love it."
