Is Fortnite's Metallica Concert the Event of the Year?
Season 4 of Fortnite Festival is now live, thanks to the release of update v30.10. To celebrate its launch, Epic Games and Metallica are hosting an in-game concert to get everyone in the mood to rock out to some of the band's most popular songs.
Whether players are familiar with Metallica's songs or not, they should definitely be part of this exclusive event. Epic Games always goes all out with their in-game music shows. This article will tell players everything they need to know about the upcoming live show so they don't miss out.
Players can watch the Metallica concert in Fortnite on June 22 and June 23. The event will occur on six separate occasions. Here are the concert dates:
June 22

- 5 PM ET
- 11 PM ET
June 23
- 10 AM ET
- 2 PM ET
- 5 PM ET
Once a showtime is live, gamers have 30 minutes to join in and still be able to tune in and watch the full show. During the event, six of Metallica's most well-known songs will play, and there will be some type of gameplay involved. However, it has not been revealed exactly how it will work.
Parties of up to four players can enter the match, and gamers will be able to freely replay the event during another showtime afterward.
Many gamers might be wondering if they should enter the Battle Royale game mode or Fortnite Festival to watch the Metallica concert. However, the Metallica gig will be a separate experience. To watch it, players will have to enter it through the Discover screen in Fortnite once one of the showtimes is live.
The Discover screen is located directly below the lobby where gamers wait for a game to start. To find the Metallica show, players must scroll down and search for its name. According to the official blog post made by Epic Games, the event will be titled "Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury," so this is what most likely will appear on the Discover tab.
