Fortnite's ongoing success reaches new heights with the arrival of Lady Gaga to the game, joining the ranks of Avatar: The Last Airbender. This announcement follows her partnership with Disney and aligns perfectly with the game's key to success.

Ranked among the top 50 free games for Nintendo Switch of all time, Fortnite's popularity shows no signs of waning. The recent crossover event with Billie Eilish only solidifies its position as a cultural phenomenon. But what is the secret behind its enduring appeal? According to Donald Mustard, co-creator and former Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games, the answer lies in the game's legacy.

In a recent interview with GamesRadar, Mustard reflected on Fortnite's success, describing it as a humbling experience. He credits the collaborative effort of the core team for shaping the game into what it is today.

Many individuals within this core team, Mustard notes, have been his longtime colleagues, some for decades, and their collective contributions have been instrumental in Fortnite's evolution and triumph.

"As I reflect on it, it's just such a humbling experience, and even throughout the whole thing, it was just such an incredibly humbling experience to see something that I've been a part of grow," Mustard shared. "So many people, so much of the core team that created Fortnite, were people that I had worked with for years, even decades."

Fortnite's success story is not just about a game; it's about the dedication, creativity, and teamwork that brought it to life. With each new collaboration and milestone, Fortnite continues to captivate audiences worldwide, proving that its place in gaming history is well-deserved.
