As reported by PC Gamer, Salad is the company in question, offering game codes and gift cards in exchange for GPU resource usage. However, it appears that the default option is geared towards generating adult content. While company officials claim this is circumstantial, many users have found that disabling this option results in a decrease in compensation received, as observed on the company's Discord server.

One of Salad's main collaborators is CivitAI, a platform that has faced previous issues for generating explicit adult images without consent.

Although Salad assures that any content created using users' GPUs is removed from the system once the workload is completed, the link between GPU usage and the creation of adult content in exchange for rewards for widely popular games among children raises ethical questions.

This situation underscores the need for stricter regulation in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications, as there are still many aspects to define and regulate in this field.
