Day four of Fortnite Web Battles is underway, and fans must deal critical damage to opponents to earn free in-game rewards.

Fortnite Web Battles are a new event in honor of the Battle Royale’s upcoming Spider-Verse collaboration. Epic Games has been slowly introducing Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and more to the game. The iconic character from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to join Fortnite on May 23.

In the meantime, fans can sign-up to participate in the Web Battles competition. Players are tasked with completing one unique challenge per day, each worth a certain amount of points. Those who earn 40 points by the end of Web Battles will receive five Spider-Verse inspired rewards.

Today’s challenge requires players to deal critical damage to opponents. So, what exactly do fans have to do?

Fortnite Web Battles: How to Deal Critical Damage

Although “deal critical damage” sounds a bit confusing, in reality, the task is quite simple: players must hit headshots on enemy players. For every 100 damage via headshots, players will earn one point.

Web Battles only contains two more challenges, including today’s, for players to earn points. As the deadline looms, be sure to inflict as much critical damage as possible to reach 40 cumulative points.

Tomorrow’s final task requires players to survive storm circles. Pushing teams today and racking up headshot damage is quicker and more fun than simply trying to make endgame every single match, especially in stacked lobbies.
