Fortnite x Coachella returns for 2023: skins, challenges revealed

Fortnite is set to get a new Coachella collaboration featuring colorful, festival-inspired skins and cosmetics. Here’s what we know.

Epic Games rarely passes up the opportunity to roll out a collaboration, and it seems a brand new one for popular American festival Coachella has been rolled out. With the festival taking place this weekend, players can grab their own slice of Coachella in Fortnite through new cosmetics and challenges.

Players can explore Coachella Island, a Creative Island created by Alliance Studios in collaboration with Epic Games. Coachella Island will be available in the Discover tab from April 14 at 3 p.m. ET to April 28, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET. It can be accessed through the tab or by entering the code: 5449-4207-1280.

Fortnite Coachella Island challenges and quests 2023

Coachella Quests are available on Coachella Island and task players with completing various challenges. The Coachella Quests run from weekend one to weekend two with he first Quests live in-game from April 14 at 3 p.m. ET to April 28, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET. Updated Quests will be live in-game from April 21 at 12 p.m. ET to April 28, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET.

Players who complete Coachella Quests will earn XP and a selection of rewards:

• Hi-Fi Cacti Spray (Earnable from either the first or second set of Quests)
• Look At The Sky Lobby Track (Earnable from either first or second set of Quests)
• Cact-eye Emoticon (Earnable from either the first or second set of Quests)
• Coachella Sunset Spray (Earnable from the second set of Quests only)

Players can also take part in the Fortnite x Coachella Challenge by completing the in-game Fortnite tasks from the Fortnite x Coachella website. These tasks will take place in the Battle Royale or Zero Build modes. The Challenge runs until April 23, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Those who complete the task will earn the Coachella Island Loading Screen.

Fortnite x Coachella Item Shop skins, cosmetics

From Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 8  p.m. ET, players can purchase the  Sunset Alto and Desert Dawn Lyric Outfits from the Item Shop.

The Sunset Alto Outfit comes with the Sunset Swirl Back Bling and Aurora Visualizer alt Style. Players can also pick up the Crystalline Cactus Pickaxe.

Desert Dawn Lyric comes with the Airflow Vibes Back Bling and Aurora Visualizer alt Style. Player can also purchase the Electropalm Staff Pickaxe.
