Fortnite could have some interesting characters to bring in for Fortnitemares 2023.

Did you know Nicolas Cage is playing Dracula in the upcoming horror-comedy Renfield? Cage will play Dracula, while Nicolas Hoult from X-Men fame will play the iconic assistant to Dracula, Renfield. While in most stories that feature the two characters, Renfield is a loyal disciple of Dracula.

This time around, Renfield’s looking for love. The film looks hilarious and having the iconic Cage himself playing an over-the-top Dracula is everything filmmaking should be. To say this is a must-see film for 2023 would be an understatement.

And of course, we think it should be involved in Fortnite’s Fortnitemares this year, or even sooner depending on how successful the film is. We have a few ideas on who else we’d like to see in the game this year as well.

Three upcoming horror characters we want to see in Fortnite in 2023

Nic Cage’s Dracula

We’ve touched on this briefly but we have to formally put him on the list. Cage is a great actor, and his portrayal of Dracula will be batty, to say the least. Cage already has a history of playing vampires, kinda, in the 1988’s Vampire’s Kiss. You may not recognize the name of the film but you’ll recognize the meme.

The Bear from Cocaine Bear

It’s a bear, on cocaine. I know it likely won’t make it to Fortnite, but man, that would be one addition fans will remember.

Barlow from the 2023 remake of Salem’s Lot

Frankly, Barlow from the original Salem’s Lot miniseries would be just fine, but we’re curious how he’s going to appear in the upcoming film remake of Stephen King’s iconic vampire novel. That is if the film even comes out this year, as it’s been delayed before.
