The next major Fortnite crossover has been revealed and it’s My Hero Academia

The next major anime crossover coming to Fornite has been unveiled and it’s going to be My Hero Academia. The superhero anime will follow in the footsteps of past crossovers like Naruto and Dragon Ball, revealing the first character to be Izuku Midoriya, the face of the franchise. Midoriya, also known as Deku in the anime, is the main character of the My Hero Academia story.

The revelation that Deku was coming in the game came in the Chapter 4 trailer that was released on Sunday morning, which not only revealed the anime crossover but the inclusion of the likes of Doom Guy and the Witcher’s Geralt.

This is poised to be one of the best seasons ever for crossovers just off of the inclusion of Doom, The Witcher, and My Hero Academia alone. It’ll get even better when we find out who else is involved in the My Hero Academia crossover. Right now we know it’s just Deku but in past crossovers with animes, fans got four characters in total.

Meaning that it’s likely that My Hero Academia gets three more beyond Deku.

When can we expect the My Hero Academia crossover?

The crossover won’t be for some time, more than likely, as the game will ride the next two weeks embracing the new Chapter, and then the Christmas Fest is supposed to begin after that. So the most likely scenario should see My Hero Academia coming in January at the earliest.

This is just speculation, but it doesn’t seem like they’d front-load so much to start the Chapter. This will be something that’s spread out so that the player base doesn’t fall off. At least that’s what the focus of the developers should be focused on, as they’ve lost a lot of fans over the last nine months or so
