Huntmaster Saber may be an Xbox exclusive.

Huntmaster Saber was part of the Imagined Order line of bosses in the early parts of Chapter 3, and he was easily among the best to fight and the coolest to look at. The feline-helmeted villain had a thermal scope rifle that was choice and his ability to teleport made him a hassle. As someone who loves using any thermal weapon, fighting him and getting it was a must for nearly every game.

So finding out he was coming to the shop soon was a great thing. Granted, he wouldn’t come with his mythic, obviously but he’s got such a great design that it didn’t matter. Yet, as it turns out, not everyone will be able to get him.

And heck, now, most people may not want to get him.

Huntmaster Saber will only be available to Xbox players, and will only be purchasable if players buy a specific Xbox item, currently believed to be a console. Purchasing this item will allow Xbox fans to get their hands on the  ‘Gilded Hunter’ Pack, which comes with the following;

"Huntmaster Saber OutfitSaber’s Fang PickaxeThe Hunt Begins Wrap1,000 V-Bucks"

With no ability to purchase the content directly, this seems to put the outfit behind a several hundred-dollar consoles. Making it one of the most costly characters that Fortnite has ever sold.

Fortnite should be ashamed of themselves for doing this

If this rumor holds water and after the Midnight Drive Bundle from last year, it sure seems to, then Fortnite is really just exploiting players at this point. The Dark Skully character from last year was bad enough, but Dark Skully wasn’t nearly the same hit that Huntmaster Saber was.

So to put a hotly anticipated outfit behind $400 or $500 is outrageous. It’s pure exploitation and Fortnite should really reconsider its treatment of fans.

When will Fortnite end the Fortnitemares event this year. dark. Next
