Epic synergy is real; Fornite fans can now get Rocket League gear

Fans of Fortnite and Rocket League are in for a treat.

Fortnite fans are about to be propelled by rocket power, and no, we’re not talking about the dope surfer show from the early 2000s on Nickelodeon. Though, how cowabunga-sweet was that show? No, we’re talking about Rocket League.

That’s right, Rocket League is coming to Fortnite but no, you won’t be able to drive cars in Fortnite as you do in Rocket League; though, that is how you bring back players to the game. Instead of driving sweet, suped-up speedsters, fans will have the chance to wear them on their back.

Not the greatest crossover but hey, Rocket League themed-cosmetics is something at least. To help celebrate Epic Games’ other baby, the brands are doing some corporate synergy. For a short time, Fortnite fans will be able to celebrate the Rocket League World Championship by collecting some free unlockable rewards in-game.

How do you collect the Rocket Leauge unlockables in Fortnite?

You can collect the items by going to the Rocket League Live Creative Island (code: 8205-6994-2065) to start. Once you’re there, you can obtain a Rocket League emoticon, a Rocket League back bling, a Rocket League glider, and a Rocket League spray.
