3 Fortnite outfits that may be banned from future purchases
By Chad Porto
Fortnite has seemingly banned three outfits.
Fortnite is known for several things. Their ability to release a bunch of cosmetics, partnering with other companies to create unique branding opportunities, and leaving items on the shelf for a long time. It’s not very common to hear about Fortnite banning items but according to Top5Gaming, they may have very well banned three sets of outfits.
Is this the case for the following three outfits? Maybe, but it’s very likely that the outfits are just shelved for the foreseeable future for one reason or another.
That said, if these outfits were banned, why would they be? Well, we’re going to talk about that and maybe see, if they are banned, if the reasoning behind it is sound.
Three sets of costumes banned and why they may be
Mike Lowery
Mike Lowery was the character from the legendary Michael Bay film, “Bad Boys”. Lowery was the character that Will Smith played and it seems after Smith’s infamous slap that Fortnite put Smith and his likeness on ice. Now, this is according to Top5Gaming and we don’t have any other source but it may very well be real considering how a lot of people are still upset with him for his act of violence.
Travis Scott
With Travis Scott, it’s less about him and more about what he’s been associated with and that’s the Astroworld Festival incident, a concert where eight people died due to a crowd crush that pinned people against one another. Many others were injured and Scott was held responsible by many for not realizing things had gotten out of hand and trying to calm the crowd.
Stranger Things
The Stranger Things outfits may have been pulled, at least according to Top5Gaming, due to Netflix wanting to branch out with their own video game streaming service.
