Watch the new John Cena trailer for his Fortnite debut.

John Cena is now officially a part of Fortnite, so fans can rejoice that the man who you can’t see is now able to be completely seen! Cena, for those who don’t know, has been the face of the WWE for a better part of the last 15 years. Rising to fame in 2002 thanks to his rapper-gimmick, Cena would become the face of the franchise in 2005 alongside Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista.

Bautista went by Batista and Cena and he starred on Raw and SmackDown respectively. Since then they’ve both gone on to star in huge franchises, but Bautista/Batista is no longer in the WWE or affiliated in any way, while Cena is.

Which is why Cena is here. Cena is in the game as part of the Epic Games SummerSlam, which is tied into the WWE’s upcoming SummerSlam event this weekend. Joining Cena in Epic Games content this week include Roman Reigns (along with Cena), who will have a featured car in Rocket League, while Xavier Woods, Asuka, and The Undertaker are characters no Fall Guys.

John Cena has a new trailer hyping up his arrival in Fortnite and a potential rival

Cena’s arrival in Fortnite is showcased in a new trailer from Fornite and Epic Games. It shows Cena decked out in his gear, recreating his WrestleMania 25 entrance, where he was flanked by men dressed just like him as he came out for his match.

Hinted at during the trailer, is a potential rivalry with Meowscles. The jacked kitten seems to be one of the few characters in Fortnite who has the strength to challenge Cena, so it makes sense, though, admittedly, we’re a little sad Cena’s not a villain.

It’d be great to see Cena face off with the Foundation (The Rock) and give their feud a third and final showdown.
