There’s an adorable message on Indiana Jones’ head in Fortnite

Fortnite is full of surprises like this Indiana Jones Easter Egg.

Fortnite is full of surprises, even if you’re not expecting them. When the game brought in Indiana Jones into the Chapter 3, Season 3, there was a lot of hype for it. There were numerous Easter Eggs hinting at his arrival, from a seemingly misplaced appliance to actual temples to explore.

Yet, one little Easter Egg that no one saw coming was going to be found under Jones’ iconic hat.

If you were to look through the character’s hat in a mode that allowed you to mess around with the camera, you can see a special message that looks like it’s from two developers to their dad. It says “Liam & Finn <3 Dad”. You can see the partial message below.

Now, it may be that the father is sending a special message to his sons, but it’s also possible that it’s two brothers who work together, and Indiana Jones has a special meaning to their father. Either way, it’s a lovely message.

Indiana Jones references that some may have missed

That little Easter Egg obviously isn’t the only one that the game has had involving Indiana Jones over the years. With the character itself, he released with a raft for a glider and a broken ceremonial staff as a pickaxe, both of which are references to the films that Jones was the key character in.

These aren’t the only Easter Eggs that the character is known for in the game, either. While it may no longer be there, for a time, if you went venturing out in the desert, you’d be able to find a refrigerator in the sand, a clear and obvious reference to a scene in the fourth film where Indiana Jones used a fridge to escape a nuclear bomb explosion.
