PlayStation fans should be gearing up for the latest Fortnite Cups.

If you play Fortnite on the PlayStation you’re going to want to pay attention, especially if you’re a competitive player. The PlayStation Cup has returned to Fortnite for the month of July, or, should we say, will return.

Players will have a shot to win a portion of a $230,800 pot, and all players have to do is win. Shouldn’t be too hard right? Starting July 7, fans can qualify for the Fortnite PlayStation Cups. The competition will conclude on July 24 later this month.

Both users on the PlayStation 4 and 5 can compete in the competition as long as they’re in good standing. Be aware, however, as the qualifiers will have you compete in different game modes, and how well you do will determine if you make it into one of the spots for the competition.

What are the details for the PlayStation Cup Qualifiers?

There are three qualifiers for the July PlayStation Cup. The first is called Architect mode, where you can edit all player-built structures. The second qualifier is called the Starting Loudout mode, where players can drop in with a pre-determined loadout to use in the game. The third and final qualifier is a traditional Battle Royale match.

To qualify for the Finals, you just have to make it into the Top 33 players in your region. If you’re just looking to get your feet wet and don’t expect to qualify for the Finals, you’ll still get a free cosmetic reward if you can register eight points in the qualifying rounds.

The cosmetic is a spray and it’s different for each qualifier.
