A new season means a brand new Battle Pass! Chapter 2 Season 8’s Battle Pass looks great, but how great are the skins? Here are my thoughts and rankings for the regular, non-secret Battle Pass skins in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 Battle Pass review

Honorable Mention: Carnage

I can’t rank Carnage because it’s a crossover skin. Your enjoyment on Carnage depends how much you like the character, but the skin itself looks great. Disgusting and fleshy, as he should. He continues the trend set by Rick is Season 7’s Battle Pass, coming only at the end. This means that he’s entirely optional, and that’s all I could ask for.

6: Fabio Sparklemane

Fabio’s loading screen had me excited. I love the ridiculous, muscular men with animal heads look that Meowscles pulled off, and the loading screen made me think that Fabio was just as good. Unfortunately, he looks rather strange in-game. There’s something off about his face.

5: Kor

This one is fairly generic. The character Kor is a mercenary with insider info about the IO, but her skin seems like standard “agent” fare. Her back bling and harvesting tool are pretty cool, but that’s about it.

4: Charlotte

This skin hits a certain aesthetic taste. If you like waifus, and more importantly, pretty girl assassins, Charlotte’s for you. Personally I’m tired of the stereotypical look for this archetype, but her harvesting tool, emote and back bling are excellent.
