2- You can craft outside of the menu
I had a concern at the start of the Season that fumbling about the menus to craft weapons may get you killed too often. You should still craft only when it’s safe, but there’s a trick that can make crafting a little easier. If you have an eligible weapon equipped, you can craft outside of the menu when you have the right materials.
For example, if you have a set of grenades and find a Mechanical Bow, you can interact with the Bow on the floor and craft it into the Mechanical Explosive Bow, where it will be added to your inventory and vice-versa.
If you have a Makeshift weapon equipped, you can craft it directly into a Primal/Mechanical weapon when you find the fourth part for it.
