The latest Gaming Legends series skin is here, and this time Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series is here. Here’s everything you need to know about the Lara Croft Fortnite skin, and how you can get it for yourself.

How to Get the New Lara Croft Fortnite Skin

Previous Gaming Legends skins were released in the Item Shop, with iconic characters like Ryu from Street Fighter and Master Chief of Halo theme available for purchase. Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft isn’t like the other ones. This time, you’ll need to get her in the Battle Pass.

Fortnite’s seasonal Battle Pass is available for 950 V-Bucks, but completing it will net you back 1,500 if you paid for it. In addition to Lara herself, you’ll get all of her matching accessories.

Lara Croft is unlocked at level 15, but from level 10 to 22 you’ll unlock all of her things. By the end of it, you’ll have an emote, contrail, backbling, harvesting tool, glider and a classic 25th Anniversary Lara Croft style for the skin.

The base skin itself is based on Lara Croft’s appearance in the reboot series, but the Anniversary style uses her classic outfit, with some modernizations.

In terms of pricing, it’s a pretty good deal even if you just want the Lara Croft skin. All of those items combined would probably run you over 3,000 V-Bucks if it was in the shop. I could see the Skin going for 1,500 by itself, so 950 with a 300 V-Buck rebate by level 19 is a great deal.

Of course, completing the Battle Pass pays for itself and gets you all of the other cool skins this season. Agent Jones, Cluck and Spire Assassin are my personal favorites in the lineup.

The additional cosmetics you get for Lara Croft are also fairly generic, and could look great with a variety of other skins as well. I really like when licensed content can be used with original material well, so Lara Croft is a homerun for me.
