Fortnite: The God of War Has Arrived

Only a few days into Season 5, Fortnite has already dropped a blockbuster into the item shop. Wait for it… Kratos has arrived.

For any fan of the God of War franchise, it was a delight to log onto Fortnite to see Kratos ready for battle in the item shop. After being teased by Sony, Kratos arrived on Fortnite on December 3rd, with a few special inclusions for PlayStation players. Now we another dangerous “bounty” hunter that has unleashed into the world. As we know by now, Season Five looks to be all about the bounty this season.

The greatest bounty hunters in the world as beginning to arrive on the Fortnite island. The incoming of the new season came led by the arrival of Star War’s The Mandalorian. However, Sony wanted to play too. So they sent their best bounty hunter as well. The Krato’s package includes Krato’s signature Leviathan Axe, glider, Mimir back bling, and the man himself. I am only a little bummed that Krato’s didn’t arrive a little earlier to deal with Galactus in quick sequence mayhem. However, that could have also really meant “The End” for Fortnite. The inclusion of Kratos has Fortnite players excited and for a good reason. With a blockbuster inclusion so soon, fans are excited to find out what is next.

This is very exciting news coming only a few days into the season. It shows that this season may end up being the most diverse when it comes to character inclusion. A season with Mando and Kratos hunting everyone down? Take my money now! The rumors have also been running rapid that Microsoft also wants a bit of the Fortnite action.

Reports from Fortnite data miners have revealed that Halo’s Master Chief may be the next to show up on Fortnite. Until then, I am looking forward to trying out the Krato’s skin as I complete some bounties myself.
