Fortnite: Today’s Item Shop Featuring The Dark Vanguard 10/20/19

In today’s Fortnite Item Shop, 10/20/19, we have the return of the Muertos set and the Dark Vanguard. Although there are no new skins in the shop today, there are some old favorites to snatch up quickly.

The Muertos set, including Dante and Rosa, which reminds us of matadors meets Day of the Dead, are back in the Fortnite Item Shop for only the third time. They were first introduced almost a year ago on November 1, 2018. For being around for a year and only being in the shop for the third time  now is definitely a rarity for Fortnite.

Dante and Rosa are both epic skins and are reactive and cost 1,500 V-Bucks. The skins glow in the dark so they can be seen from a mile away. Both include a back bling. Dante comes with the Spirit Cape, and Rosa includes the Calavera back bling.

The pick axe to match the set is called the Six String Striker. The pick axe is reactive as well and glows in the dark. The glider to match the Muertos set is called Spirit and glows in the dark too. The pick axe and glider are also epic items and cost 1,200 V-Bucks.

For the space enthusiasts out there, the Dark Vanguard is back. She is back for the 15th time and first appeared in April of 2018. The Dark Vanguard is a legendary skin that costs 2,000 V-Bucks. The included back bling is called the Dark Void.

You have two choices in the Fortnite Item Shop for a matching glider. The Deep Space Lander and the Orbital Shuttle are both available. The Deep Space Lander is the black version, while the Orbital Shuttle is white. Both are epic skins and costs 1,200 V-Bucks.

Doublecross is a rare skin available for just 1,200 V-Bucks. This is her third occurrence in the Fortnite Item Shop. She is part of the Red Lily set, and she includes the Floral Shell back bling.

Hayseed is an uncommon skin that is part of the Fatal Fielders set. He only costs 800 V-Bucks, but he does not include any back bling with his skin.

There is a new emote in the shop today called Island Vibes. This is a rare emote that costs 500 V-Bucks. This makes your skin strum a ukulele to a beautiful island song. Moon Bounce is another rare emote available for 500 V-Bucks, while the My Idol! emote is only 200 V-Bucks. Finally, the Tree Splitter harvesting tool is the final item in the Fortnite shop today.
