The Saturday, October 5, 2019, Fortnite Item Shop features a new Manic skin. Japanese styled skins, Hime and Musha are back in the shop. In addition, Kenji and Kuno continue the theme for today’s selections. Familiar skins such as Recon Specialist and Scout have returned with Business Hips, Battle Call, and Jubilation emotes.

The only new skin that hit the Item Shop today, Maniac, does not appear to be a part of a Fortnite set. This is an uncommon skin selling for 800 V-Bucks. There doesn’t appear to be any peripheral items to accompany the skin like back bling, a pick axe, or a glider.

Back in the Item Shop for the tenth time are the legendary skins Musha and Hime, which first appeared back in August, 2018. Both male and female variations fetch a hefty price tag of 2,000 V-Bucks each. Included in that price is a matching back bling, and both skins offer three additional styles.

Musha and Hime are part of Fortnite’s Bushido set. The Cat’s Claw pick axe is an additional 800 V-Bucks, and the Purrfect glider is a steal at just 500 V-Bucks. All said the entire set, including both female and male variants, would set you back a crazy 5,300 V-Bucks. That’s equivalent to $53, which in today’s world could just about get you a brand new video game.

The ninja styled Kenji and Kuno are part of the Falcon clan set, and both are epic skins costing 1,500 V-Bucks each. They first hit the Item Shop in March of this year. This is their seventh appearance in the shop. Neither have selectable styles, but they both include a matching back bling for the price.

The matching glider for the set, Falcon, is a legendary item that costs1,500 V-Bucks. The rare pick axe for the Falcon Clan is called Talons and runs 800 V-Bucks. The wrap, Bandage, is very reasonably priced for an uncommon item at 300 V-Bucks. This entire set, including both female and male variants, totals a whooping 5,600 V-Bucks. Wow! That’s some serious dough.

If you are looking to add some flair to your game, the emotes can add that extra special touch. Back in the shop are three very popular emotes, Business Hips, Battle Call, and the Jubilation emotes. The Business Hips emotes is traversal meaning you can actually move across the battle field while using the emote. While the Battle Call and Jubilation emotes are only 200 V-Bucks, the Business Hips comes in at 500 V-Bucks due to it’s rarity category.

Finishing off today’s shop is the rare Recon Specialist at 1,200 V-Bucks, the uncommon Scout skin at 800 V-Bucks, and the uncommon Hypermelon wrap at 300 V-Bucks. If you are going to grab any of these sets, don’t forget to drop in the name of your favorite Fortnite creator so they get a kick-back for your purchase. That is a great way of saying thanks for all those hours of gameplay we are all guilty of watching online.
