Most Underrated Items in Fortnite Season 10

Fortnite Season 10 has given players plenty of options when it comes to the use of items and weapons. Some are used way more than others and some should definitely be used more, so here are our most underrated items in Fortnite Season 10.

Items and weapons of course make Fortnite different from time-to-time and by each season comes new weapons and items and some weapons and items take the boot and are removed from the game at the turn of the season.

For starters, here is what was added and removed since Season 10 began just about a week ago.

• Automatic Sniper Rifle
• B.R.U.T.E

Vaulted 

• Baller
• Quad Crasher
• Flint Lock Pistol
• Shadow Bomb
• Semi-Auto Sniper
• Tactical Assault Rifle
• Mounted Turret

Obviously much more was vaulted than was added so far but there have still been a few fixes to certain weapons and items and mostly all have done the game in a positive way.

With that said, let’s get into a few of the items you should be using more often in Season 10 and how they can impact your gameplay in a positive way.

Chug Splashes

I don’t know if I can stress it enough but health is obviously the most important component of Fortnite and having a lot of it is very important.

Many players use chug splashes already but I don’t think they truly understand the gravity of how important they truly can be.

Each chug splash gives you 20 health or 20 shields depending on what your health is so for example, if you have 150 health(100 health and 50 shields), you can near full 200 health by using two chug splashes, which takes not even a few seconds, and be much more equipped for victory than you were about five seconds before.

They are also very useful when you are fighting and low on health because a player can use them and gain back much needed health quickly and get right back into the action.

If you do use chug splashes on a daily basis, you are doing something right. If not, consider using them to help you get a Victory Royale.

Tactical Shotgun

This one may come as a surprise but the tactical shotgun, both the old version and new version that are both currently in the game, is a pretty underrated weapon in Fortnite Season 10.

With the introduction of the drum shotgun, many players turned to it as their new shotgun of choice when wanting a fast-shooting shotgun to use against enemy players.

The tactical shotgun still does very solid work in all of its variants across different stages of the game and yes, it may not be the best shotgun in the game anymore(if it even ever was), but it is very useful especially if your aim is on point.

Adding the fact that the tactical shotgun can be found in every variant makes it even better for players to find the weapon in some sort of way and it is a pretty easily accessible weapon even in its epic and legendary variants.

The tactical shotgun should not be your go-to but it definitely is a useful weapon in Season 10 and shouldn’t be underused by the community.

Grenade Launcher/Grenades in General

Finally, an old friend who has been in the game for longer than I can remember seems to have taken a backseat to items such as the B.R.U.T.E, the proximity launcher and the rocket launcher and that is the grenade launcher and to be fair grenades themselves.

The grenade launcher has been in the game for a very long time. It has always done a solid job at destroying opposing builds and disallowing players from regaining health or reviving a teammate after they were downed. But with the additions of new weapons like the proximity launcher, which does a better job damage wise at it directly impacts players but the grenade launcher does more work than the proximity launcher.

The grenade launcher may not be accurate but when it is, it does some serious damage and can even eliminate enemy players who are caught off guard or do not have the proper building materials or building speed to avoid the constant barrage of grenades.

Normal grenades also do the trick as well considering you can hold up to nine of them and throw them pretty quickly and press an opponent almost non-stop and it can definitely mess with any player when grenades in any form are coming at them very quickly.

These three items are definitely items all players should consider making good use of in Season 10. One that also could make the list is the Boogie Bomb which actually propels players out of the B.R.U.T.E and allows players to take care of the OP mech pretty handily.
