Best Potential Matchup and Predictions for Week 5 of Friday Fortnite

Fortnite, Killer Keemstar and UMB are bringing Friday Fortnite once again for its fifth installment, featuring matchups between friends and rivals alike. Here are the best potential matchups and our predictions for who could take home the trophy in Week 5 of Friday Fortnite.

Friday Fortnite is back once again and UMG as well as Keemstar are excited to bring you more action featuring your favorite celebrities, streamers and creators alike.

Winners MrSavage, benjyfishy, FaZe Tilt, FaZe Jarvis as well as regulars,Dr. Disrespect, DrLupo and others will all take part in the action this week.

Ninja and his teammate FaZe Sway sadly dropped out just before the tournament started, so the star will not be featured in Week 5 of Friday Fortnite.

Before taking a look at the best potential matchups individually, lets take a look at the teams and the bracket.

As you can tell, two teams received BYE’s this week due to the number of teams no adding up correctly to fill out the entire bracket.

The rules are the same again for Friday Fortnite with pairs of competitors joining a squad match and competing for the most amount of eliminations. The duo with the higher amount of eliminations over the course of two matches will move on with both duos getting a chance to host on their respective servers.

With that said, some big names are involved in the tournament and it should make for yet another eventful Friday of Fortnite. So, lets get straight into what matchups could have the best potential and our predictions on who will take home the coveted honor as Friday Fortnite winners in Week 5 of the star-studded event.

Best Potential Matchup : LG Kiwiz x LG Formula vs. DrDisrespect x 100T Arkhram

This matchup has tons of outside noise following DrDisrespect’s two-week long Twitch ban following his live stream when he entered a bathroom with a filming camera which breaches Terms and Conditions on Twitch.

DrDisrespect is a very vocal part of the community and expect him to go absolutely bonkers in this tournament to prove a point. He teams up with 100T Arkhram who has seen success across the Fortnite tournament scene and this matchup against LG Kiwiz and LG Formula spits parity.

These two teams may be seeded far apart at 9 and 24 but expect this matchup to be one of the best of the first round. Kiwiz and Formula do not average tons of eliminations in duos as they only combine for about 5 a game while DrDisrespect will likely come out of the gates swinging alongside his partner Arkhram.

“We grab em, snap em.” Those are fighting words. Meanwhile Kiwiz had this to say about him and Formula’s past performance and why they won’t disappoint this time around.

The team had an early exit that they were not proud of last week and they are prepared to avenge that and make a deep run as the ninth seed. Expect kills to be coming left and right from the Luminosity duo.

These two teams really want it badly and I could see this matchup very well coming down to the final few eliminations in the second game. The Luminosity team will come out with a one-to-two elimination advantage but expect DrDisrespect and Arkrham to come gunning for a huge upset.
