Lets Focus on the Focal Point Set and Why You Should Buy It

Fortnite released a very unique set in the form of the Focal Point set, which features three items, the Focus outfit, the Chuck Pack back bling and the Fixation harvest tool. Here is why you should invest some of your V-Bucks in this unique summer set.

Fornite released the Focal Point set on Thursday and it will be available for 24 hours. The set features three items, all of which have their own unique style and flavor that are much different than any of the other skins and sets we have seen throughout this summer from Epic Games.

Let’s focus on the Focus outfit first, which in my eyes is one of the better skins Epic Games has released in the past couple of weeks. Here is the skin in its entirety.

With the tagline “Visualize the future.”, this skin embodies the growing interest in futuristic concepts that we have continuously seen in Season 9 with the introduction of Neo Tilted, wind tunnels and many other things.

This skin would fit well in darker parts of the map as well as areas with a blueish feel with its dark blue facade, so while using this skin target places such as Haunted Hills, Mega Mall and most of the snow part of the map, especially Polar Peak.

The outfit along with the Chuck Pack back bling, which is a much lighter blue with what appears to be nunchucks, which I find really awesome with the tagline “Wield responsibly.”

Personally I would’ve preferred the backpack to match the outfit color but the light blue is a nice touch to an otherwise awesome outfit.

Moving on to the final piece of the set, Fixation is the harvesting tool you’ll be using to get your materials ready for battle.

“Sharp, focused, and relentless.” suits this tool well as it have a very sharp end, almost like a spear, with a kind of crescent moon part that would add some extra pain if used in battle.

The tool is more of a staff than a spear but either way its uniqueness comes from the glowing blue light at the top and bottom of the tool which matches that of the backpack. If anything, I would buy the tool alone if you are trying to save some V-Bucks as it will only cost you 800 of that in-game currency.

This set embodies the future but dabbles with the past and should strike fear in your opponents eyes. One thing I like as well is the white hair which gives me the vibe that this character is likely a ninja, which can also be theorized with the tape over the characters mouth.

This entire set is a must have and it is a featured item for a limited time. Take the opportunity to become the focal point of the battle and while you’re at it, get the Tai Chi emote if you want to give the skin a true Chinese feel.
