Controller phenom Swayy joins Faze Clan
By Eric Brown
After weeks of hinting at signing a new player, Faze Clan have announced their latest addition to their Fortnite roster. Controller phenom Swayy has joined the organization.
Having one of the biggest followings, if not the biggest, Faze Clan is always looking for new members to up their player portfolio in the worlds largest game. On Tuesday, March 12th the organization announced their newest player, this time it is Swayy, a 15-year old controller phenom that is mostly known for his ability to solo squad, however for the signing will be on the team professionally.
With almost 500k subscribers on Youtube already at 15, the future appears to be extremely bright for the young potential star.
Faze Clan is likely not done, as some would assume that they will like to continue to sign players ahead of the Fortnite World Cup that will take place later this summer. They will continue to sign players even though they arguably have the best duo in the game, in Tfue and Cloak, as the more players you have in one tournament the odds of your organization coming out on top rises dramatically.
Swayy will also be the first professional player signed to Faze that is strictly a controller player, as the team roster is all on PC. Knowing how big Faze is in general, they likely did their due diligence before signing their first controller player.
It remains to be seen when we will see the newest pro Faze player for the first time under his new umbrella, but it will likely be this week in the new $100k ScallyWag online tournament.
