After one day and seven games of competitive Fortnite, the most recent additions to the TSM roster, Vinny1x and ZexRow are running away with the lead in the duos event.

Vinny1x, the latest to join Team Solo Mid’s competitive Fortnite team, is looking to run away with a clean sweep of contests at the ESL Katowice Battle Royale over the course of 3 days. On Friday, he won the Solo Tournament, his first competition under the TSM umbrella. He managed to secure the victory with 319 points under the new format, which changes how many points a player gets for each elimination and where they place.

As for Saturday, Vinny1x and his partner Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro have a 48 point lead over the second place duo from Virtus Pro, Jamside and 7ssk7. Of course, if you are someone who follows the competitive Fortnite scene this is not a strange sight to see this dominant duo up at the top of the leaderboard. During 2018 Twitchcon, these two placed third overall. Most recently Vinny himself finished 12th and 14th in the Winter Royale and Secret Skirmish events.

The scoring for this competition may be different than others, but this pairing is proving that no matter how scoring is kept, eyes will always need to be focused on them. During this event, each elimination will net your team 5 points per kill. Victory Royales are worth 65 points, while any top-five finish with earn you at least 44 points. Vinny and Zexrow consistently showed that they were going to be in the end circles each match, along with this clutch win during game 2. If they end up finishing in first place, they will split $80,000.
