Planes Coming to Fortnite Season 7

Fortnite Season 7 starts on December 6 and it’s a huge possibility that planes and ziplines could be coming to the game.

Fortnite Season 7 has an official start date of December 6th and it’s with this sneak peek tease that Fortnite tweeted out that leads us to believe aircraft could be coming to the game. The tweet includes the text “Ascend to new heights” which definitely hints at some addition of verticality whether that be planes or maybe taller mountains compared to the mountains in the game now.

The main focus of the tweet, however, is the image. The graphic shows a character holding a scar rifle with one and seems to be ziplining with the other. The most eye-capturing piece of the graphic, however, is also the most subtle.

Looking closely in the background we are able to see a little plane. This small plane could mean big things for Fortnite Season 7.

If planes were to be added into the game this could change the meta completely and could lead to the addition of more sky-based aircraft/vehicles as the season progresses.

Our guess is that planes will be coming to season 7 and they will be able to hold two passengers but it’ll be interesting to see if there will be an onboard mounted gun or if players will be able to fire their own weapons. Also, will the addition of the plane also come with the addition or re-addition of the guided missile, or perhaps a lock-on missile to combat aircraft?

As for the competitive scene, we couldn’t imagine that aircraft would ever be a viable option as the players on the ground would rain constant fire as it flew across the sky.
