Fortnite‘s shopping carts and ATKs are currently disabled because of a glitch. For the weekly challenge and storm escaping abilities, we’re going to need these back immediately.

We all understand that Epic Games has a responsibility to ensure that bugs and glitches to different parts of Fortnite get repaired and returned to good working condition. That being said, the current shopping cart/ATKs bug fix could not have happened at a worse time.

One of the week 4 battle pass challenges is to jump carts and ATKs through flaming hoops. Players will now have to wait to get this challenge done. While that is not a huge concern to most as we have over half a season to complete the challenge, it’s just kind of annoying.

Shopping carts and ATKs have become part of the way many users play the game. Having an option to ride out of the storm makes for longer looting time at the edges of the map. Many (myself included) have begun to take more time after landing in the outskirt locations and without ATKs or shopping carts to escape the storm, I’ve subconsciously taken more time only to die in the storm, cursing this glitch.

Epic has been great about addressing the bugs in Fortnite and I’m sure they are working hard on this one. As mentioned, this isn’t a make-or-break thing and people aren’t leaving the game over it. It’s still a minor annoyance that is resonating through the Fortnite community.

If the ATKs and carts are not fixed in time for the challenge to be completed, Epic will obviously compensate players for it. The main concern is that the ATKs don’t suffer the same fate as the shopping carts upon their release, as they were brought in and out due to bugs more times than we can count.

Hold tight, gamers. Epic will likely have the carts and ATKs back up and riding in due time.
