Fortnite Battle Royale: The double heavy shotgun is so overpowered

The new overpowered double heavy shotgun in Fortnite Battle Royale has become the new double pump. What needs to be done to fix this problem?
Since Fortnite Battle Royale was released, the developers have struggled to find the proper balance for the shotgun. First, it was the power of the tactical, shortly after, it was the rise of the double pump, now it is the double heavy shotgun that is dominating the game.
When a game is in Beta, it is never truly complete. This leads to developers constantly tinkering and updating the balance of the game and making sure nothing is too powerful or useless.
With Fortnite, the constant problem has been shotgun balance. As the saying goes, “one step forward, one step back.”
The pump shotgun saw not only a nerf to the damage done, but also through the time to switch between any gun and the pump. The weird animation that takes place has been a welcome sight to those who have played the game for some time now.
Plus, the inclusion of damage decrease to the body made, I think, everyone happy. But, people have begun exploiting the heavy shotgun’s rate of fire and ability to quickly change to the gun and shoot.
It is truly a shotgun machine gun. I have noticed through some experimenting that the best combination of guns has gone from having two pump shotguns to having one tactical shotgun and one heavy.
More than ever, the key to winning gunfights with the shotgun is the rate of fire not the total damage the gun does. It has gotten to the point where I am much more excited to find a blue tactical than I am a blue pump.
But, finding a gold heavy is like finding a gold SCAR. The purple and gold shotties have become a laster machine much like the SCAR is known for. Add in the distance you can hit someone for significant damage and it is clear that this is basically an AR with increased damage.

The best remedy to fixing this overpowered double heavy strategy is to do what was done to the pump. Increase the time it takes to switch to it and take a shot. It is simply mind-blowing that a gun, let alone a shotgun, can shoot this quickly.
Please Epic Games, fix this nonsense. It is so frustrating to have an SMG or a SCAR and get destroyed by a guy who has two gold heavy shotguns.
